Soluble amphiphilic tannin-stabilized Pd(0) nanoparticles: a highly active and selective homogeneous catalyst used in a biphasic catalytic system.

چکیده
Homogeneous BT-stabilized Pd(0) nanoparticles are highly active for the biphasic hydrogenation of hydrophobic substrates because BT is an amphiphilic polymer that can form hydrophobic bonds with the organic phase, thus increasing the possibility of catalytic species to contact with hydrophobic substrates.

Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity of Ligand Stabilized Palladium Nanoparticle: A Catalyst Compliment to the Heck Coupling Reaction
The palladium metal is the most frequently used metal because of its excellent catalytic efficiency and most flexible varying oxidation state. So, we report that palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs) stabilized by a ligand (o-vanilindiphenylethanedionedihydrazone, L) using reverse micelles method have been synthesized, while all particles are in spherical shape and ranging between 10 and...
متن کاملWater-soluble metal nanoparticles stabilized by plant polyphenols for improving the catalytic properties in oxidation of alcohols.
Plant polyphenols extracted from plants are one of the most abundant biomasses in nature, which are typical water soluble natural polymers. Herein, we reported a facile approach for the synthesis of platinum nanoparticle (PtNP) aqueous colloid by utilizing black wattle tannin (BWT, a typical plant polyphenol) as amphiphilic stabilizer. The phenolic hydroxyls of BWT provide the PtNPs with enough...
متن کاملBiphasic catalysis using amphiphilic polyphenols-chelated noble metals as highly active and selective catalysts
In the field of catalysis, it is highly desired to develop novel catalysts that combine the advantages of both homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts. Here we disclose that the use of plant polyphenol as amphiphilic large molecule ligand/stabilizer allows for the preparation of noble metal complex and noble metal nanoparticle catalysts. These catalysts are found to be highly selective and acti...
متن کاملPd loaded amphiphilic COF as catalyst for multi-fold Heck reactions, C-C couplings and CO oxidation
COFs represent a class of polymers with designable crystalline structures capable of interacting with active metal nanoparticles to form excellent heterogeneous catalysts. Many valuable ligands/monomers employed in making coordination/organic polymers are prepared via Heck and C-C couplings. Here, we report an amphiphilic triazine COF and the facile single-step loading of Pd(0) nanoparticles in...
متن کاملHighly Dispersed PdNPs/α-Al2O3 Catalyst for the Selective Hydrogenation of Acetylene Prepared with Monodispersed Pd Nanoparticles
Pd nanoparticles (PdNPs) stabilized by methyl cellulose (MC) were synthesized in an aqueous solution, which are monodispersed nanoparticles. PdNPs/α-Al2O3 catalyst was prepared with monodispersed PdNPs and showed better catalytic performance than Pd/α-Al2O3 catalyst prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method using Pd(NO3)2 as a precursor. The catalysts were characterized by transmiss...
